The celebratory party for the successful alumni of the bar exam – 2018 Fiscal Year Ryukyu University of the Ryukyus Law School
I attended the celebratory party for the success alumni of the bar exam which was held at ANA Crowne Plaza Okinawa Harborview on the 24th of September, 2018.
5 alumni from University of the Ryukyus Law School passed the exam this year and 4 of them attended the party.
Tetsu Amakata, the attorney from our firm, who is also the chairperson of Okinawa Bar Association, made a speech to congratulate the alumni. In the speech, Amakata spoke about the importance of possessing one-and-only individuality as legal professionals.
The speeches given by 4 alumni themselves about the hardship, the joy, the gratitude, and the aspirations were very moving and brought back memories of my own experience as an alumnus 2 years ago.
I felt particularly rejoiced because my fellow associates with whom I studied at University of the Ryukyus Law School passed the exam. I root for those who could not pass this year and hope for their successful outcome next year.
As for myself, I was reminded to never to lose my initial enthusiasm of becoming a person of law. I shall push forward with my work as a lawyer each passing day and strive to be the one-and-only. Attorney Yu Sakata
